Ekamra walks : A journey to discover the Heritage Of Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar is an ancient city in the eastern state of Odisha. Many temples are built in this city for which it is known as the Temple City of Odisha also.

Some of us are here for study, work or some of us are from this city only. Whatever, but the heritage of this city should be discovered by everyone living there once.
However, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation & Odisha Tourism and Bhubaneswar Development authority took an initiative popularly known as "Ekamra Walks" to explore the heritage of the Temple city Bhubaneswar.

What is Ekamra Walks Actually?

Hope all of us walked in the morning once. Though for Engineering students it is quite impossible to go for a morning walk. But the walk is totally different from a regular morning walk. An Organizing team of the Ekamra Walks manages the whole event.
you need to report Mukteshwar temple within 6 am to join the journey.With a presence of a guide and a classical concert, the walk starts from the origin. The freaky wind with the classical tune in a holy place will blow your mind and you feel more energetic for the whole day.

The total walk cover around 2kms. In the walk, you will go through a Route map.

3.Kotitiirtheswara Temple.
4.Bindusagar Lake.
5. Ananta basudev. Temple Kitchen.
6. Dharamshala Heritage building.
7.Lingaraj temple.
8.Ratha Danda. (Street Market)
9. Chitrakarini Temple.
10. Sari Deul Temple.
11.Matha Old Monastery.
12. Vaital Deul temple.
13. Ekamravan Herbal garden.

and next again Back to Mukhteshwar Temple.
